  Horrible experience. We planned to purchase carpet with Lowe’s and were told they would match 15% off that Home Depot was offering. In addition if we opened a Lowe’s card, we would get another 5% off..making a 20% discount. AFTER opening the credit card, we were told that the 5% doesn’t kick in until the next purchase. I told her that the whole reason we are opening a card is for the discount and we wanted to close the card, because we were misinformed of the offer. The lady at customer service was INCREDIBLY rude, slamming things around and making me feel really bad for wanting to close it. It was almost a 500 dollar difference in price and she acted like I was crazy for being frustrated with the difference. I’ve had a number of bad experiences here. Do not recommend.
